Social Media Manager
Location: Nashville, TN (Local candidates are highly preferred; or willing to relocate).
Schedule: Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, with 1-2 days for remote work).

Overview: Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Social Media Manager defines and leads the strategy and execution of social media and content creation efforts for pH-D Feminine Health and CON-CRET, driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth across paid and organic channels.
The ideal person is strategic as well as analytical, with a deep understanding of social media trends, paid strategies, and audience engagement. This is a leader role with 2 direct reports, guiding the team to ensure seamless execution and performance reporting. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure alignment with broader brand initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand awareness and engagement across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others.
- Align social media efforts with broader digital marketing and brand strategies to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent goals.
- Manage and optimize social media campaigns, balancing paid and organic efforts to maximize impact.
Content Creation & Management:
- Strategize with team on successful content creation for engaging, platform-specific content (including images, videos, and short-form storytelling) using assets provided by the creative team, generating net-new social-first content tailored to each channel; Ensure content reflects the brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
- Own and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posting aligned with marketing initiatives, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Partner with the Digital Marketing Director to develop and execute high-performing paid social ads.
Community Engagement & Support Coordination:
- Oversee the Social Media teams' management of comments, messages, and interactions on social platforms, ensuring responses are timely and align with the brand’s tone and values.
- Provide guidance to the team on escalation protocols and community management workflows.
- Ensure the team effectively monitors sentiment, trends, and opportunities for proactive engagement, delegating detailed reporting to the team.
Performance Tracking & Analytics:
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, follower growth, ROI) and compile regular performance reports to inform and optimize future strategy.
Trendspotting & Innovation:
- Stay on top of emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand ahead of the curve; Experiment with new content formats, platforms, and strategies to engage and grow the audience.
Qualifications:
- 5-6+ years of experience managing social media strategy for consumer brands across paid and organic channels.
- Demonstrated experience leading/mentoring/championing a team of direct reports to reach their full potential; Adept project management experience.
- Relevant experience supporting consumer packaged goods products and companies; Knowledge of the health, wellness, or feminine care industries is a big plus.
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and driving measurable results; Track and measure positive ROI on paid social campaigns (increased follower growth, engagement rates, overall social media presence, etc.).
- Experience with social media advertising tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
